London Spring Break 2017 V

Covent Garden

Somerset House is really beautiful

When my sister studied abroad in London, she worked in a small museum near this park, and she used to come here all the time. London has these small parks everywhere and they are a little bit of quiet you can find in the city.

I STUPIDLY did not take a picture of the museum we went to right next to this park, it was called Sir John Soane's Museum. We weren't allowed to take photos inside, but I also just forgot to take a picture of it from the outside. It was my FAVORITE museum that we went to on the trip. Definitely not as well known, it is pretty small, but it was really great. An architect named Sir John Soane, bought three houses together and basically made a museum out of his own home. When he was about to pass away he got approval to have his house open to the public as a museum. And its free!! It is really cool; there are paintings, sculptures, and so many things that make you think "how did he do this to his house?!?!?!".

People chillin' it's awesome

Coffee break at the park!

Natural History Museum, once again, free!
Seriously, are all the museums in London cool? I have come to the conclusion that they are.

Kensington Gardens

The Albert Memorial, Queen Victoria had this statue made for Prince Albert who died at the young age of 42 of typhoid fever.

I really liked this park a lot, it was very peaceful and clean.

Kensington Palace, Princess Diana used to come to this palace a lot

YUM!
