12 days in Yanji, China Part 1

I went to an orphanage in China this summer. It was great, and I can't wait to go back next year!
Here are some of the photos:

Ready to work on the first day!

Hard core cementing

We got to visit the Tumen River, which is small river that divides China w/ North Korea.

95% of what we did at the orphanage was help to dig holes which would
eventually hold pillars for a ramp. It was hard work!

Nu has been to the orphanage every year for seven years, and the kids love him!

A random girl at a kabob shop who fell in love with us.

Watching and playing soccer with the kids was one way of bonding.

We were able to go and visit a famous mountain called 백두산.

It was sooo cold, and I'm sooo tan from all that construction work!

These are all the holes we dug!

The last game night with the kids!

Trying to play mafia.

Miss these kids soo much!

So hard to say goodbye...

I'm going to upload some of my teammates' pictures on another post.
